World Action is currently recruiting a team of professionals to volunteer their expertise and time to help expand our work. Volunteers will collaborate with a professional board of directors to help design and implement the organization’s strategic plan over the coming year. All positions provide an excellent opportunity for individuals to learn new skills, contribute to the health and sustainability of east African communities and build their professional portfolio.

Volunteer with House of Hope or St. Isaac’s Training Center
World Action is working with The Real Uganda, a Ugandan NGO, to place volunteers at House of Hope and St. Isaac’s for time commitments between one and four months. Both organizations need volunteers who can bring new ideas, work with minimal supervision, and have a positive, self-starting attitude. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are needed including people with business skills and experience with accounting and grantwriting. For more information, visit The Real Uganda website.
Volunteer with The Boona-Baana Center
The Boona-Baana Center welcomes mature, pro-active, self-supporting, adventurous and independent volunteers of all backgrounds and nationalities who wish to assist by volunteering for any period ranging from two weeks to two months in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
