Welcome to World Action for Humanity

Founded in 2004, World Action works to raise awareness and resources for small, grassroots projects in developing countries. We believe that local people, leaders, and organizations—in every part of the world—understand best how to achieve lasting improvement in their own communities.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to identify and support local leaders and their initiatives to improve lives in developing countries. Our goal is to help these dedicated leaders raise the financial support they need to achieve lasting, participatory development in education, health care, agriculture, nutrition and care for children.

Our partners include:

  • A young woman from Masaka, Uganda providing free education, nutritious meals and medical care to over 100 orphaned children in her rural community;
  • A man from Jinja, Uganda, training farmers across the country in modern techniques of organic farming methods that have reached over 500 farmers to date; and
  • A couple who created a home for abandoned children in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, now providing a safe, family centered environment for 10 young children.

World Action is an all-volunteer organization based in San Francisco, California, with many dedicated volunteers, partners and supporters around the world. We are committed to remaining a volunteer effort to allow 100% of all donations to go toward our partners on the ground.

We invite you to explore our site and learn more about our partner projects, the support we provide, and how you can get involved.  Welcome!
